Return Policies

Change of Mind Returns

Consumers are not entitled to a refund under the ACCC consumer guarantees if they got what they asked for but simply changed their mind, the product did not fit, they found the product cheaper somewhere else, or decided they didn't like the purchase or had no use for it. This is highly applicable to HELMET purchases so PLEASE ensure you measure your child's head as per instruction and choose the correct size. We will not accept change of mind helmet returns due to health and hygiene standards.

All claims for a refund for a change of mind return must be made within 5 business days of receiving your order, and are at the sole discretion of Wheels and Motion. You are required to contact us quoting your Invoice number and the items you wish to return. You will be advised via return email the address for the item to be sent.

Return items will be sent at your own cost, Wheels and Motion will not cover the return postage or freight for change of mind purchases. Note, original shipping rates will not be refundable, only the product cost. Furthermore, if your order has been dispatched, delivery attempt has failed as you were not home to take delivery and the order is now awaiting collection at a local post office - if you then instruct "Return to sender" - this will also be regarded as a change of mind return and the return postage cost will be deducted from your refund.

The goods must be sent back to the nominated address and be in their brand new, undamaged condition, and in undamaged packing, to allow to be resold. It is your responsibility to ensure the item/s are packed securely in an outer box to avoid possible damage from shipping. If these criteria are not met, you may forfeit your refund.

To ensure your returns does not get lost, please include tracking for this parcel as we are not responsible for lost returns. We recommend emailing us your tracking number so we can record it on your file. We will not issue a refund for items that have not been received by our warehouse.

Your refund will be processed back on the original payment method within 10 business days, and note - PayPal and Afterpay merchant fees are non-refundable in the event of a refund.

Shipping Information

Shipping & Delivery

Please make sure you provide us with an accurate delivery address, email address and contact phone number so we can contact you if there are any issues with your consignment. Note, we have worked hard to streamline our processes so you receive your order as quickly as possible. Once you have placed your order, these processes mean that changes to the product ordered, order cancellation or changes to delivery addresses are not always possible. Please double check ALL your information is correct at the time of ordering, including your choice of product; if you need to alter this, and IF we can make your requested change after the order is placed, you will incur a processing fee. Note: Parcel lockers are generally NOT large enough to accomodate scooter purchases. If you choose to send to a parcel locker, it is most likely to be redirected to your local post office, and Aus Post will likely NOT update you of this. We have no control over this, and any 'parcel locker' delays are out of our control.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders are dispatched from Metro Melbourne postcode 3194. Please note public holidays, and large sales events such as ‘Black Friday’, ‘Easter’, ‘Stocktake sale’ or ‘Boxing Day sale’ can add time delays to dispatch, and delivery timelines with Aus Post due to the volume of orders placed. We pack every order carefully to ensure it reaches you in good condition, your order will be sent through Australia Post or one of our preferred couriers. All consignments are trackable, via the link on sms, but we do not require a signature.

If you choose to have your parcel delivered to your home address, and are not home to take delivery: Australia post MAY take it to the local post office for you to pick up, HOWEVER, they are also authorised to 'leave in a safe area', they do not need a signature. If you choose to deliver to an address that generally has no one home, and your parcel goes missing, we will request a Proof of Delivery from Aus Post, but we are NOT responsible for replacing a parcel that has been delivered to an unmanned address. We strongly suggest you opt to deliver to a business address if you cannot be home to take delivery.

We ask that you PLEASE check the Australia Post website for delivery times from Metro Melbourne to your postcode. Once products leave our warehouse the delivery carrier becomes responsible for any delivery updates, and we cannot help to chase/ fast track your package.

If you get a pending tracking ID in your shipping confirmation email or text, please give it some time (12-24 hours) for it to show in the Australia Post system.

We will endeavour to consolidate your order into one consignment, but this is not always possible. For example, a single scooter and protective pads can be packed into one consignment: 2 scooters will require 2 separate boxes, and therefore be sent as two separate consignments.

Split shipments

We have multiple warehouses. Some orders require multiple shipments from different warehouses. We will notify you if this applies to your order, as it will arrive in separate deliveries.

Something is missing from your order?

We carefully pick, pack and check each order. If you discover any item missing from an order please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order

Please provide proof of purchase and images if the product is incorrect.

Warranty Policies

All orders leave our warehouse in brand new undamaged condition. If your item arrives damaged or missing items, we will gladly replace the damaged or missing parts to you. Should we require the goods returned, we will offer a return solution. Should you be due a refund, we will action this. NOTE that ‘self-repairs’ prior to a warranty claim void this warranty, as will failure to follow assembly instructions.

Manufacturer Warranty

Globber products are covered under Australian warranty for hardware failure, up to 24 months from date of purchase. Globber E-scooter batteries are covered by a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase, and the Globber Trike Raincover for 6 months from date of purchase. Italtrike products are covered under Australian warranty for hardware failure, up to 24 months from date of purchase. All other brands provide warranty against manufacturer defects, up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Manufacturer warranty covers direct manufacturing faults or failures in our products. With all extreme/ high risk sports, skateboard and scooter equipment suffers damage as a direct result of participation in the sport; and this damage to equipment is not covered under warranty.

Damage due to misuse, abuse, prolonged sun exposure, modification, and regular wear and tear is excluded. Warranty does not cover wheels or bearings, chips, scratches, chunking, flat spots, bending, snapping, cracking or other damage of parts that is a result of normal use. Lightweight EVA foam wheels on Trikes are not all terrain wheels, and will not be covered for improper use. NOTE that ‘self-repairs’ prior to a warranty claim void this warranty, as will incorrect assembly, or failure to follow assembly instructions.

You must stop using the product in question immediately if you raise a manufacturer warranty claim. You must be able to provide proof of purchase, indicating product purchase is inside the manufacturer warranty period (credit card receipt is fine) and provide at least two photos of your item, one of the damaged part and one of the complete product.

You must contact us, with the above detail, plus your full name, address and mobile number, to make a warranty claim. We will then assess your claim, and advise you of the outcome. Should we require the goods returned, we will offer a return solution at no cost to the claimant. If we deem spare parts will fix the issue, we will send the parts at no cost to the claimant.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
