Return Policies

At OZHOME, we are committed to providing quality products and reliable service in line with Australian Consumer Law.

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to:

A replacement or refund for a major failure

Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage

Have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

A product is considered to have a major failure if it:

  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the description or sample
  • Is substantially unfit for its normal purpose
  • Cannot be easily fixed within a reasonable time

2. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • Please contact us within a reasonable timeframe after delivery
  • Provide clear photos and a description of the issue
  • We will assess and offer a repair, replacement, or refund as required under ACL
  • Return shipping costs for confirmed faulty or incorrect items will be covered by OZHOME.

3. Change of Mind Returns

For change of mind returns:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery
  • Must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition
  • Customer is responsible for return postage
  • Refunds will be processed once the item is received and inspected.
  • (Change of mind exclusions may apply to certain product categories.)

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Unless required under Australian Consumer Law, we cannot accept returns for:
  • Opened personal care or hygiene products
  • Perishable goods
  • Downloadable software
  • Customised or made-to-order items
  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Shipping & Warranty Policies

Shipping Policy

Orders are dispatched on the next working day after full payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Dispatch times refer to warehouse processing only and do not include courier transit time.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are subject to courier performance and external factors beyond our control.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the courier.

Customers must ensure the delivery address provided is accurate. OZHOME is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect address details.

Tracking information will be provided once available.

Limited Warranty Policy

In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), OZHOME provides the following limited warranty:

  • Products with a value of up to AUD $250 are covered by a 3-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
  • The warranty applies strictly to verified manufacturing defects under normal domestic use only.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling
  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow instructions
  • Accidental damage, impact damage, or liquid damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Consumable parts
  • Commercial or business use
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, customers must:

  • Contact OZHOME with their order number.
  • Provide clear photos and/or video evidence of the issue.
  • Allow reasonable time for assessment.

OZHOME reserves the right to:

  • Request return of the product for inspection.
  • Repair, replace, or provide a partial refund at our discretion where the issue does not constitute a major failure under ACL.
  • Decline claims where the product fault cannot be verified.

Return shipping costs for approved warranty claims will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

This warranty is provided in addition to and does not exclude, restrict, or modify rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
