The PSA HomeGuard HG3000 is a 240V mains powered photoelectric smoke alarm with a 9V battery backup, designed to deliver dependable fire protection in residential environments. Using photoelectric sensing technology, it detects smouldering fires effectively while avoiding the use of radioactive materials.

This model can be used as a standalone alarm or interconnected with up to 24 compatible alarms for broader home protection. It features a single Test & Hush button, an anti-tamper design, and an 85dBA ISO8201-compliant alarm. An insect screen helps minimise false alarms, and it mounts easily to the ceiling or wall using a slide-on base plate. It is AS 3786:2014 approved, ActivFire listed, and backed by a 10-year warranty.
