Hozelock 1525 – 13W PL-S TUV Lamp has GX23 base Supplied as either Hozelock 1525 or Philips PL-S13WTUV GX23 BASE
Warning about dimensions: Many  lamps from China are non-standard and are too long in the metal base cap giving a 19mm long lamp base. These will not fit the Hozelock unit. You will crack the quartz sleeve if forced.
Dimensions: The lamp is 176mm total length, 16mm long lamp base. Suits:

Hozelock Bioforce 12000UVC – 1386 (Fits original models up to end of year 2011 to Serial No.16 09 30)
Fishmate 15000 UVC Biological Filter

This TUV ultra violet lamp is commonly used to sterilise medical instruments & used for the disinfection & sterilization of water as well as having many laboratory applications.Note: This lamp has twin retaining tabs on either side of the base as opposed to the single tab of the conventional PL-S G23 bases. It will not fit into a G23 lampholder.
WARNING – DANGEROUS ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION. Radiation of this lamp is harmful to eyes and skin. Installations with these lamps are to be screened off completely.
