Directions for Use

Unfolding & Folding: To unfold, push down firmly on the seat rails until the frame clicks into place and the seat is flat. To fold for storage or transport, simply pull up on the center of the seat fabric; the chair will collapse inward for a compact fit in most car boots.

Flip-Back Armrests: Locate the release lever at the front of the armrest to flip the padded arms upward and back. This feature is essential for seamless side transfers (to/from beds or cars) and allows the user to sit flush against dining tables.

Swing-Away Footrests: Use the release latch to swing the footrests outward, clearing the front area for safe standing. For compact storage, the footrests can be completely removed by lifting them off the hinge pins.

Dual Braking System: Always engage the manual push-to-lock brakes on both rear wheels before any user transfer (sitting down or standing up) to ensure total stability.

Safety Warnings 

Weight & Size Capacity: Strictly do not exceed the 136kg maximum weight limit. This wheelchair is designed for standard body profiles; it is not suitable for bariatric users. Overloading may cause structural damage and void the warranty.

Anti-Tip Safety: NEVER stand on the footplates when entering or exiting the chair. This can cause the wheelchair to tip forward. Always swing footrests away and place feet firmly on the ground first.

Surface Limits: Use only on flat, stable, and dry surfaces. Avoid steep inclines, loose gravel, or soft grass where the 8" casters may lose traction or bog down.

Stationary Security: Ensure both wheel brakes are fully locked whenever the chair is stationary. Do not rely on brakes to stop a moving chair unless in an emergency.

Assisted Kerb Navigation: For safety, always have a carer assist when navigating kerbs or uneven thresholds to maintain balance and prevent forward tipping.
