RS-75-5 60W 5VDC Switchmode Power Supply
The Mean Well RS-75-5 has a rated output of 60W at 5V DC. This range of switch mode power supplies offer high efficiency DC power in a compact enclosure. They are designed to be installed within a secondary cabinet as the 240V input terminals are exposed. The mesh casing allows free air cooling without the need for fans (-25° to +70°C working temperature). The low profile casing makes them ideal for mounting into 1RU rack cases.
Switch mode power supplies offer several significant advantages over traditional linear transformer power supplies. They are far more efficient than their linear counterparts. As they do not use power or mains transformers the equivalent power supply weighs considerably less than traditional types. Physical size is also reduced.
