Wilhelm Wagenfeld

Born in Germany at the beginning of the 20th century, Wilhelm Wagenfeld was one of the pioneers of German industrial design. His experiments with glass and metal pieces have made their way into exhibitions and museums around the world, and his success led to the opening of the Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-Schule, an industrial arts school in Bremen. His most famous piece, the Wagenfeld Lampe, was first designed in 1924 yet continues to be popular in boutique locations around the world.
