This is a Matt Blatt replica of the original design.

Intent on, “celebrating the child within”, Danish designer Kay Bojesen has spent his career creating adorable wooden animals with moveable limbs.

A member of the Bojesen family since 1951, the Teak and Limba-wood Monkey was first exhibited in the 1950s at London’s highly regarded Victoria and Albert Museum (commonly known today as The V&A). It is just one of the Danish artisan’s animal creations characterised by an inherent sense of simplicity, naturalness and clean lines.

Our Replica Kay Bojesen Teak Monkey likes to hang around. Hook one of his hands over a windowsill or dangle him off a bookshelf. The only limit to where he can live is your imagination.

All in stock furniture will be despatched from our Sydney warehouse within 5 business days from receipt of payment. After despatch, shipping time to most capital cities is 3-4 business days.

Delivery will be kerbside, that is, to your front door only. For heavy or bulky items you may need help to carry the furniture inside. For special delivery needs please contact us for a quotation.

We provide an unconditional return policy on furniture purchased from our website sight unseen excluding lighting. If for any reason whatsoever you are not satisfied, please return in original, unmarked condition and packaging within 7 days for a full refund less freight. Unwanted items must be returned to the following address in full original packaging:
