Konstantin Grcic (1965 - )
German designer Konstantin Grcic has had a long career creating dynamic, original pieces that play on the world around him. Born in Munich in 1965, Grcic originally studied carpentry and cabinet making before undertaking a Master’s in Furniture Design at London’s Royal College of Art. His first work was with the English designer Jasper Morrison, before he branched out on his own in the early 1990s and opened his own studio in Munich. Since then, he has collaborated with firms such as Flos and Moroso, as well as consistently holding solo exhibitions around the world.
