Jaime Hayon (1974 - )
"I’m always learning by doing things, and I really enjoy what I’m doing. I’ve always been very experimental. I love drawing and I’m very much into sharing things."
Spanish designer Jaime Hayon studied industrial design before joining design company Fabrica in 1997. He was swiftly promoted to the head of Fabrica’s design department, overseeing large scale architectural and design projects. In 2005, Hayon started his own studio, Hayon Studio, and has not looked back. His studio has produced some of the most innovative and acclaimed industrial designs of the 20th century, and his talents were awarded in 2008 when he became the youngest ever guest of honour at the Belgian Interieur Biennial.
